Out of 590 million adults in Sub-Saharan Africa, 350 million do not have access to an account at a bank or with another type of financial institution. This number still represents about 60% of unbanked individuals in SSA.
Zoona Plus is a digital solution that is uniquely tailored to fit the financial needs of underserved communities in Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique and eventually the rest of Africa. They provide access to a product suite of financial solutions that are affordable, easy to access, easy to understand and easy to manage. However, at the core of what they do is the belief in a world where financial empowerment is a not a privilege for a few, but a right for all.
Our role was to help build the brand strategy ahead of its launch in the Zambian market in order to successfully connect it to the people they serve. In the end we created a brand that is charged with purpose, a differentiated identity and communication that resonated with its audience. We are proud to have had the opportunity to build a brand that has a heart for change.
